strictions and lockdowns. We have all lost: people, families I´m longing to feel closer to our coast again, live it intensely
and economy. because this is living. The sea and the wind, as I say, as a
vaccine; the best of the vaccines.
So for that, now, with these lines, I would like to permit
myself to dream... Dream, for example, with the sea of my
beloved Altea, and in general with the seas of my fantas-
tic country. Dream about a meal – and not just paella, but
there again yes– in the port of Marina Greenwich, in the
Cranc or in any of the magnificent restaurants that fill this
beautiful town of Altea. And I dream of going to the sea on
a sailing boat. Long ago I gave up sailing; for me, in the last
fifteen years it´s been impossible to combine my sailing
passion with my work... but this deadly pandemic, which
closed all the roads, has brought back the memory of my
days at sea, of resting and reading while being rocked by
the sea and the breeze. This sea that is so blue, so beau-
tiful, so breathable. A sea that, after any anticovid prepa-
ration, will be the best antidote against sadness or anger...
