ENRIQUE GARCÍA MUÑIZ &
JOSÉ LUIS GARCÍA-CAÑADA
Enrique and José Luis conquered in 2020 the first and se-
cond place of the Spanish Jet Ski Championship, in the GP1
Atmospheric and GP2 Promotion categories respectively.
The championship was made up of four intense races: Baio-
na, Gijón, Arcos de la Frontera and Mazarrón, the last event
that also celebrated the Copa del Rey.
Mazarrón (Copa del Rey) was the last and most important
race of the season, since the general classification of the
Spanish Championship would be decided there. Enrique
García did not disappoint and was intractable in the 3 heats
carried out, showing that in rough seas there is no rival to
overshadow him. He climbed to the top of the podium after
3 first places in Rallyjet and Offshore, thus achieving a great
finish to the season, by taking home the Copa Del Rey and
proclaiming himself Champion of Spain in the GP1 Atmos-
pheric Rallyjet and Offshore category.
In his first season as a Jet Ski pilot, José Luis García-Cañada
(Quique's teammate) has been proclaimed runner-up in the
Copa Del Rey and in the Spanish Championship in the GP2
Rallyjet and Offshore Promotion category. So it looks like
we will be talking a lot about him in the following seasons.

In 2021, Enrique aims to revalidate his title of Spanish Ra-
llyjet and Offshore Champion in the GP1 Atmospheric ca-
tegory, as well as to fight for the World Championship in
France alongside José Luis who, in addition to the World
Championship, will fight for the GP2 title.
The pilots have their training base in Marina Greenwich and
they have been joined by a new team member to add skill
and ability: Javier Menéndez. He is already training with his
teammates preparing to compete in the 2021 season both
in the Yamaha EXR Cup and in GP2 Promotion, where he
aspires to get to the top.
