RESCATADA UNA EMBARCACIÓN SEMIHUNDIDA EN LAS PROXIMIDADES DE LA MARINA
El pasado mes de agosto, Salvamento Marítimo remolcó hasta las instalaciones de Marina Greenwich una embarcación
que había rescatado con una importante vía de agua. Esto hizo que se activara de inmediato el procedimiento de emer-
gencia en el puerto. En primer lugar, el personal de la marina estabilizó la embarcación con globos para, a continuación,
poder eliminar el agua con la bomba de achique preparada para estos menesteres. Una vez estabilizada la embarcación
se remolcó hasta varadero para poder proseguir con su tratamiento.

Durante toda la maniobra se contó con el apoyo de una embarcación neumática equipada con las herramientas
necesarias para actuar en caso de derrame de hidrocarburos.

Una vez en varadero, se sacaron pertrechos, enseres y colchonetas para endulzarlas. Y también se hizo lo mismo con el
motor, aplicándole un producto protector para minimizar los daños hasta su reparación.

A SEMI-SUNKEN BOAT RESCUED IN THE VICINITY OF THE MARINA
Last August, Sea Rescue towed to the installations of Marina Greenwich a boat that they had rescued with a major
water leak. This immediately triggered the emergency procedure at the marina. First the personnel stabilised the boat
with balloons so that they could remove the water with the bilge pump prepared for these purposes and once the boat
was steady, it was towed to the dry dock in order to continue with its treatment.

During the entire manoeuvre, they were supported by a pneumatic boat equipped with the necessary tools to act in
the event of a hydrocarbon spill.
Once in the dry dock, all the equipment and belongings were taken out to clean them. And the same was done with the
motor, applying a protective product to minimise the damage until it was repaired.
