MARINA GREENWICH OPTA A LA BANDERA AZUL

Desde 1987, la Fundación Europea de Educación Ambiental otorga este galar-
dón como distintivo a las playas y puertos que cumplen con una serie de con-
diciones ambientales y de instalaciones. Nuestra marina ha sido galardonada
con este distintivo durante muchos años, pero desde 2004 dejó de presentarse
a raíz del comienzo de las obras de ampliación del puerto.

Los criterios que se deben cumplir son cada año más exigentes, y se dividen en
tres grandes grupos: información y educación ambiental; gestión ambiental;
y seguridad y servicios. A lo largo del año pasado, Marina Greenwich ha rea-
lizado numerosas inversiones encaminadas a mejorar tanto sus instalaciones,
como sus equipos de salvamento y de contraincendios. Por otra parte, también
se han mejorado los sistemas de recogida selectiva de residuos y se ha amplia-
do su política ambiental.

MARINA GREENWICH OPTS FOR THE BLUE FLAG

Since 1987, the European Foundation for Environmental Education has granted this award as a distinction to
beaches and marinas that comply with a series of environmental and facility conditions. Our marina has been
awarded this distinction for many years, but since 2004 it stopped being presented as a result of the start of its
expansion works.

In order to get the Blue Flag, the criteria that must be met are becoming more demanding every year and are divid-
ed into three large groups: information and environmental education; environmental management; and security
and services. Over the past year, Marina Greenwich has made numerous investments aimed at improving both its
facilities, as well as its rescue and firefighting equipment. On the other hand, selective waste collection systems
have also been improved and its environmental policy has been expanded.

CLUB NÁUTICO
La terraza del Club Náutico ha reabierto recientemente
sus puertas con una puesta a punto a la altura de sus
cócteles. Con un ambiente desenfadado, buena música y
un servicio atento. La terraza está abierta todos los días
y es uno de los mejores lugares de Altea para degustar
entre amigos un cóctel al atardecer o una copa en las
noches de verano.

LA TERRAZA ARE BACK AGAIN
The terrace of the Club Náutico has recently reopened
its doors with a set-up to match its cocktails. With a re-
laxed atmosphere, good music and attentive service. The
terrace is open every day and is one of the best places in
Altea to enjoy a sunset cocktail with friends or a drink on
summer nights.
