MANIOBRAS DE SALVAMENTO MARÍTIMO JUNTO
CON MARINA GREENWICH
El pasado mes de noviembre, Salvamento Marítimo
llevó a cabo junto con Marina Greenwich las maniobras
de un simulacro de emergencia. La actuación consistió
en la evacuación de una embarcación con un tripulante
figurativo que fue arriado en una camilla-cesta de rescate
con eslinga.
Para llevar a cabo estas maniobras Marina Greenwich
puso a disposición del equipo de Salvamento Marítimo un
velero de 54 pies y parte de su dotación.
El simulacro tuvo lugar a unas dos millas al sur de la
marina, donde se había dejado la embarcación al pairo.
A continuación, un helicóptero Helimer 215, tras facili-
tarle las coordenadas de situación, se aproximó por so-
tavento y arrió al rescatador, nadando posteriormente
hasta el velero.
Una vez a bordo, el rescatador se dirigió a la zona de tra-
bajo más despejada junto con personal de Marina Green-
wich e iniciaron las labores de rescate. En primer lugar
arriaron al tripulante figurativo, y después la camilla-cesta
para introducir al “muñeco” e izarlo por medio de la guía

rina, where the yacht was lying adrift. Later, a Helim-
er 215 helicopter, after providing the location coordi-
nates, approached from the leeward side and lowered
the rescuer, which subsequently swam to the vessel.
Once on board, the professional together with the per-
sonnel from Marina Greenwich began the rescue work.
First, they lowered the figurative crew member, the
stretcher/ basket and introduced the “dummy” where it
was hoisted up to the helicopter by a cable.
Then the manoeuvre was repeated with a safety har-
ness and the entire drill was carried out successfully,
both entities thanking each other for their work.
